We take all the precautions needed to ensure your eyes are kept safe throughout treatment. However, being in a room with lasers does carry a risk if unprotected eyewear isn’t worn. Here’s what we do to minimise the risk of eye damage:

  • You are required to wear protective glasses throughout treatment, which will keep your eyes protected.
  • All of our consultants are fully trained and adhere to a safety protocol throughout treatment. All carry a CIBTAC, NVQ or VTCT Level 2 certification along with the core of laser knowledge certificate. Once they join NAAMA, they go through an intensive certified training on how to specifically use and administer the LightSense™ laser technology.
  • The LightSense™ laser system is equipped with a number of safety features to ensure the laser only targets the skin.
