Help CenterAbsolutely. In fact, our LightSense™ laser is excellent at safely removing black ink tattoos on dark skin. During your consultation, our experts will use the Fitzpatrick scale to identify your skin tone.
However, we can only safely treat coloured ink tattoos on Fitzpatrick 1-3 skin types. Darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick 4-6 skin types) are at risk of pigmentation damage and we therefore can not safely remove colour ink on these skin types.
