Help CenterThere’s a few things that can impact how quickly a tattoo clears. The density of the ink can play a factor, and sometimes our clients will see shading fade first before thicker outlines. You also might see coloured inks fade faster than black ink.
Another factor is placement of the tattoo. Did you know that tattoos closer to the heart fade faster? That’s because they’re near the source of blood flow and circulation. In contrast, tattoos around the extremities like your hands and feet take a bit longer as they’re further away from your heart.
