Will I get a scar? Will it blister?

Traditional laser tattoo removal devices can leave your skin hot, blistered, inflamed, or burned. The LightSense™ laser system uses significantly less energy, pulses faster per second, and is much gentler on the skin. Our consultants are highly trained and offer the best treatment during your session.

From time to time, clients may experience side effects. Here’s a few things to note:

It is common (defined by occurring in more than 50% cases) to observe the following post-treatment: a thin white film called ‘frosting’ on the skin (this is a natural reaction from the laser hitting the ink and typically subsides within 5-10 minutes, but it may take longer) or whitening of hair in the area, especially when treating eyebrows. This is due to the hair losing its pigmentation; it is not related to hair loss and will not impact the colour of regrowth.

It is highly unusual when treating with LightSense™, but there is a risk that you may experience: permanent localised scarring, hair loss or thinning within the tattoo area, infection of the tattoo area following treatment, or temporary or permanent pigmentation changes within the area. There is also a risk that your skin reacts unfavourably during or following treatment. Reactions can include: bleeding, bruising, blistering, stinging, infection and discomfort.

If you experience any of the above, please let us know immediately. We’re available 24/7 with a dermatologist on standby and our team is just a phone call away should anything come up. Contact us by emailing consultation@naamastudios.com or by phone or WhatsApp on +44 7429 983355
